5 Amazing Lifestyle Influencers

What is a lifestyle influencer? Well it could be a blogger, social media user, a youtuber etc. These influencers, primarily women, show people their lives on the internet. What the use for their plants, what they eat, how they take care of their dogs and much more! These woman work hard, and because of this, have found the golden ticket in the lifestyle world, receiving millions of views. These influencers are really there to live life with others on the internet! And I have found that I really enjoy these bloggers, and watching their lives encourages me to live mine! So without further a do, Here’s incredible my top 5!
Lauren Elizabeth

I’ve been following Lauren online since 2014-ish. She’s a Chicago native (go Cubs), she started as a fashion youtuber, and has now evolved into an actress, blogger, youtuber, and business owner! I adore her to this day and you should too! If you want a girly but also grunge street style, you have to follow Lauren! She posts things like what she eats in a day, she vlogs, her cute doggies, as well as always being extremely real, and hilarious.
Aspyn Ovard Ferris

Aspyn has also been quite the OG here on the internet. I have loved her for a long time, the internet has watched her get engaged and married, move, get a dog and have her first baby! (who is adorable by the way). She shares fun hauls, challenges with her husband, they also vlog a couple times a week. Her and her husband own an online clothing store, as well as a video production company. Something special about her is that she doesn’t live in L.A like a lot of influencers do! It’s inspiring to see her gain huge success doing their own thing!
Sierra Schultzzie

I actually just recently stumbled upon Sierra. She’s cute and quirky, and exudes confidence which I love. She is not only a vlogger with her husband, but she sends out messages about body positivity, in an extremely chill and authentic way. She is normalizing women who are bigger sizes on the internet, by actually loving herself day by day, and sharing the struggles and victories of that! She makes fun challenge videos, and fashion videos on youtube, she is a spark plug and you gotta check her out!
Jordan Lee Dooley

What a ray of sunshine this chick is. She is a Podcaster/ business owner/motivational speaker/blogger/now author! And this lady is fantastic. She’s living in Indiana with her dog and husband. Something I love about Jordan is her faith in God, and more so, how she shares it. Her faith is something that is actually apart of her platform. She is uniting Christian woman all over the world. If you are looking for some inspiring, fun content, go to Jordan’s platforms, she will lift you up and help you in your everyday!
Kristin Johns

Kristin is probably my biggest inspiration right now. I’ve followed her for 2 years now and her content has helped me grow so much as a woman in Christ. Kristin is building a small empire of Jesus loving ladies (and men) who are passionate about cooking/baking, plants, golden retrievers, thrifting and so much more. I find myself relating to her because we are close in age, and a lot of what she has accomplished, I would love to also do. If you are looking for a christian Influencer who just shows you her day by day life with Jesus as well as her fun adventures, Kristin is your gal.
That’s all for now! All the links for these amazing babes are under their little bios! Let me know if you already follow these girls, or if you also love Jesus and Golden Retrievers!

4 Farmers’ Market Tips

Farmers’ markets have grown in recent years! Not only are they adorable to take pictures at, but they are a great place to shop locally, and grab fresh produce, flowers, and more! And it’s almost harvest season, so the best, freshest veggies are coming our way. Here’s some things to think of when you hit up your farmers’ markets this fall!

1. Bring your own bags to carry your fruit in! It helps the planet and makes transportation of produce easier. There’s baskets and flowers as well, which you’ll want to carry as well.
2. Google which ones are near you! The internet can show you multiple farmers’ markets in your area, including times and locations which is really nice. So take time to explore your options. Most take place early in the morning on Saturdays or Sundays. For me, unless I’m on vacation, I don’t go on Sundays because of church so it’s nice to have options!

3. Be prepared to walk some. There’s usually not super close parking by the markets, my favorite one has none at all really! So just know you’ll get some steps in, but if the weather’s good, it’ll be worth it.
4.Try the food! Sometimes they’ll have food carts/vendors, and let me tell ya, some of my favorite dishes are from farmers’ markets. My family and I love this Thai food at the one we go to! Experiment with food and try new things! If it’s homemade, there’s a great chance it will be delicious.

(Best Thai tent ever)
I hope these help and make you excited to go out and find some local farmers’ markets! It’s an awesome way to connect with your community, as well as find some fantastic food and produce! If you have any questions or other tips comment them below! I wanna know!
Until next time,

College Girl Life Update (Scheduling Anxiety)

Hello sister!
I wanted to pop in and show the unglamorous lazy day I’m essentially having today. Just relaxing, being with my cat, writing, and having no where to be until 6 pm tonight! Of course this isn’t my everyday. I am indeed a college student, and today is my last day before my life kicks into high gear. Making dinners, driving everywhere, meetings, worship practice, classes start, and I also have family coming into town! Craziness!
Really easy to get stressed, but the truth is that in the middle of the anxiety of the next couple weeks, there’s little moments of calm. The past Couple of years I have consciously worked on managing my time. People will tell you that everytime you ask me what I need prayer for I will always say my schedule. And as I look back over the past two years, God has really developed this skill in me. I think experience will always be one of the most valuable things in this world. I’m entering my third year of college and I’m excited! I pretty much know what’s gonna go down, and I have no reason to worry. It’s the same with ministry, I do college and high school/middle school ministry, so we get summers off pretty much. The past two times entering into college ministry have been pretty scary, but this year I can honestly I am cool as a cucumber. I really believe that God’s going to do what he wants to do, and that gives me a huge amount of peace and confidence as I go into a sea of strangers to minister to!

Side note: There’s something fun about wearing a sweatshirt in the middle of summer. No matter the season, I will wear a sweatshirt inside! I love the feeling of an abundance of fabric surrounding me.
Anyways! When it comes to starting something new, know that God has you where he wants you. You can work as hard as you want, and worry all you want, but in the end God will do what he wants to do. So care and be passionate, but be able to let things go, and have fun where fun is due!
Listen to the new Taylor Swift album, run a mile, bake some cookies, swim, go through your clothes! Do something where you can let go, be yourself, have fun, and look at this new season in front of you and get excited!
What’s coming up in your new season of life? Let me know.
Talk to you later,
Morgan
My VSCO Journey
Ahh VSCO, some might be asking, what even is that? VSCO is an app where users can edit and post their photos either on the app, or share to Facebook, Instagram and others! And I particularly fell in love with it about 3 years ago. I really got into it when I saw Bella Robertson (Duck Dynasty) gain have a following on there. So here’s my journey with the app, responding to it’s recent uproar on social media.

It has recently been brought to my attention that a new name for girls who use VSCO are being called “VSCO girls”. VSCO has grown enough to have it’s own stereotype, which I find hilarious, you know when you use something before it blows up, and you just get that hipster pride? That doesn’t happen to me very often, but when it does it’s fun.
My experience with VSCO has been really cool. It’s a fantastic app, great settings and filters, you have a lot of artistic freedom. I’ll share some of my favorite photos I’ve taken with the app!

I missed this generation of VSCO girls, although I still use the app for most if not all of my pictures! I tried to get a bit a following on the social media part of the app, but I never buckled down and tried completely. But I’ve seen others do it! It’s fun to have a photography social media, It’s a cool community.

VSCO is very helpful when you don’t have a nice camera available, or even when you want to edit nice pictures! I usually manually edit my own photos, but I use a mix of filters as well. A5 and A4 also A6. The best part is having unique looking photos and sharing them!

I invite you to try it out! Feel free to share your favorite photos with me, I love art and photography. Thanks for joining me and maybe this inspires you to take pictures of your everyday!
